John Childs established Simply Yards in 1989. Over the years, he built a long list of landscape design and maintenance clients. John quickly became well known in the Fidalgo Island community for his generosity, flair and design aesthetic.

Mark Lawrence bought the company in Spring 2008. He brings nearly 30 years of landscape construction experience to the firm, including specializing in wetland mitigation and large scale civil projects like sports fields, parks and highway landscaping.

Carol Erickson and Patty Perkins keep the office running smoothly, while Eli Kraft, our Landscape Designer, can help you create a beautiful outdoor space or small garden upgrade.
