Karen and I cannot thank you enough for salvaging our front yard landscaping. Yeah, originally went went with a "less expensive" landscaping company when our new house was completed in Marine Heights and ultimately paid the price for it in the long run. Improper soil made for a lawn that wouldn't drain and a variety of plants that were simply shotgunned into place. Trees were dying or failing to bloom due to improper placement or depth of planting. When we called on you for "help" you really gave us an education. We are so impressed with your your incredible knowledge and design savvy. You took our lackluster front yard and created a fantastic formal look to compliment our home style. You drained our swamp of a front lawn and did a 5 star job on the whole project. I hope that anyone reading this will remember the old addage that "you get what you pay for." Don't do it twice, do it right the first time.....Use Simply Yards!

Hey, John: Thank you for your wonderful job landscaping our home on Marine Drive. Over the years, we've landscaped several homes but none have been done with the same creativity and passion as this one. Your creation truly fits the home and the site. The crew, especially Javier, was always polite and hard working, and watching you work with them was a total blast! "Where's my lilac? Where's my lilac?" All in all, it was a wonderful and fun experience. Thanks for that. When you build a home, you'll take all the "fun" experiences you can get! Sincerely, Carol and Jerry

I want to express how we at John R. Cox & Associates feel about Simply Yards.
Early on I was hesitant at using your services but thanks to one of my employees, I decided to give your company a try. I quickly found this was one of the wisest decisions I have made and after three years or more of working together, I still am very pleased with your work.
When we first started working with your company I felt I needed to review your designs and watch how the work was being completed. After your first few landscaping jobs I found that not only were our requirements being met they were far exceeded. On several jobs drainage issues were a big worry that we were not certain how we were going to mitigate. You came in and took care of the job and made our drainage issue a point of interest in your design.
We have found that you are always within budget and on schedule, even when we have had to call you the last minute and help with rush jobs due to our customer's bank inspection time frames.
It is clearly Simply Yards who we use for our landscaping. No other landscaper has the creativeness that you have. We have no doubt that your landscaping ability adds to the marketability of our homes. We would never consider using another landscaping company, no matter what the cost.
John, I have never had a second thought about my decision to use your services. I have complete trust in your design ability and your company's ability to deliver on time a quality-landscaping job.

John, your brother, Vic, gave me a tour of your beautiful yard just before he took my son and I sailing. Your yard is one of those things that you have to see first hand to enjoy the total feel of peace. The little hand prints on your windows are mine from peeping into your beautiful home. You weren't home so Vic gave me the 25 cent tour. I expect the full tour next time I'm in town. By the way, your habit of moving other peoples furniture around.....been there....done that....still can't break the habit. I promise not to move anything in your house when you or Vic give me the dollar tour. Anyway, from what I was able to see from the window everything looks "perfect" and doesn't need to be moved again! ):

Like many of your customers, we initially chose a landscaper based on low price and through referrals from people ignorant of quality workmanship. The result was sod placed directly on sun-hardened clay, a two-zone sprinkler system that when active caused the water pressure in the house to drop to a point that even a small glass could not be filled without great patience, sprinkler valve heads covered with rusted coffee cans, plants chosen for their cheap cost to the landscape contractor rather than for a coordinated, aesthetic design and a fence blown down by February winds just five short months after installation. Absolutely no attention was given to drainage even with our insistence that drainage was our primary concern and our repeated fears during the project that drainage would be inadequate. Despite multiple assurances by the landscaper that drainage would not be a problem, over the first rainy winter our property was an eight to ten inch shallow pond, causing the sod to float away, the cheap plants to drown and created a cozy refuge for various insects, mosses and molds.
In contrast, Simply Yards was a model of professionalism from start to finish. The project plans were detailed and comprehensive, addressing the mundane issues of drainage, twelve-zone sprinkler system, electrical hookups, retaining walls and cost. The plans also outlined an elegant, aesthetic landscape design that utilized plants appropriate to the architecture of our home and the existing neighborhood. The project was completed as planned, on schedule and within budget. Simply Yards employees were courteous, efficient and took pride in the quality of their workmanship. During the project it was reassuring to have John at the jobsite evaluating and coordinating the work on a daily basis. The few minor problems which arose following completion of the job were quickly corrected. As testament to our satisfaction with this job, we have used Simply Yards for all our subsequent projects and have given them the highest recommendation to our friends. John, thank you again for our wonderful yard, we take pleasure in it every day.
